Karma Diva Green Cleaning - Technician Terms & Conditions

1. Professional Conduct & Respectful Practices

At Karma Diva Green Cleaning, we uphold high standards of professionalism, respect, and integrity. All technicians are expected to:

  • Maintain Respectful Communication – Communicate professionally with clients, team members, and management. Disrespectful, aggressive, or inappropriate language will not be tolerated.

  • Be Punctual & Reliable – Arrive on time for scheduled jobs and provide appropriate notice for any schedule changes.

  • Follow Client Preferences & Instructions – Read all service notes before arriving and honor any special requests, including security protocols and pet considerations.

  • Respect Client Property – Handle all items with care and report any accidental damages immediately.

2. Quality Assurance & Performance Expectations

  • Technicians must complete all assigned tasks thoroughly and efficiently.

  • If a job requires extra time, they must notify management at the one-hour mark for first-time cleanings or as soon as they recognize additional time is needed.

  • Feedback from clients is taken seriously, and repeat concerns may require additional training or adjustments.

3. Scheduling, Tardiness & Availability

  • Technicians have flexibility in their schedules but must honor their committed shifts.

  • Tardiness: Being late disrupts scheduling and client expectations. If a technician anticipates being late, they must notify management as soon as possible.

  • Repeated tardiness may result in a reduction of job and/or bonus opportunities. Excessive lateness, especially without communication, may lead to termination of the working relationship.

  • Any changes in availability should be communicated in advance.

  • Last-minute cancellations or excessive schedule changes may impact future job opportunities.

4. Maintaining Cleaning Kits & Supplies

  • Technicians are responsible for keeping their cleaning kits clean, organized, and stocked with the necessary supplies.

  • Dirty or poorly maintained tools can negatively impact service quality. Technicians should regularly clean and replace cloths, mop heads, and other reusable items.

  • Any defective or worn-out tools should be replaced promptly to ensure efficiency and professionalism.

  • If using company-provided supplies, technicians must return them in good condition or request replacements when running low.

  • Kits should be stored properly when not in use to maintain sanitation and extend the lifespan of the tools.

5. Safety & Security

  • All technicians must adhere to Karma Diva Green Cleaning’s security protocols, including locking doors and handling keys/lockboxes as per client instructions.

  • If a client is home, the technician should allow them to answer the door. If the client is away, they should not open the door for visitors unless instructed otherwise.

  • Safety guidelines, including handling cleaning products properly and addressing mold or hazardous areas, must be followed.

6. Compensation & Payment

  • Payments are processed weekly based on completed work, following the Karma Diva Green Cleaning payment schedule.

  • Any payment discrepancies should be reported within 48 hours of payout.

  • The company reserves the right to adjust pay based on quality, reliability, and adherence to guidelines.

7. Independent Contractors & Employees

  • Independent Contractors are responsible for keeping up to date liability insurance and managing their contract renewals and ensuring that their agreements remain current. Failure to renew contracts on time may result in a pause in work opportunities.

  • Employees are expected to complete all necessary onboarding, documentation, and compliance requirements as directed.

8. Confidentiality & Professional Boundaries

  • Any proprietary information, including client details, pricing, and internal systems, must remain confidential.

  • Personal discussions with clients should remain professional, avoiding topics that may be deemed inappropriate or intrusive.

  • Technicians should not solicit additional work directly from clients outside of Karma Diva Green Cleaning.

9. Accountability & Resolution Process

  • Any disputes or concerns should be addressed professionally through the appropriate channels.

  • If a technician disagrees with feedback or a decision, they are encouraged to communicate respectfully and work toward a resolution.

  • The company reserves the right to discontinue assignments with technicians who fail to meet performance or conduct expectations.

By accepting work with Karma Diva Green Cleaning, all technicians agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
